LEGO Dimensions: Gandalf Meets Newt Scamander (Video)

Gandalf the grey is not Dumbledore! Check out this new Lego Dimensions video and please check back after the video for my thoughts on Newt, Fantastic Beasts, and Gandalf.

This Lego Dimensions video is my favorite of their introductions yet! Gandalf is really funny in this one. I love the confusion between him and Dumbledore! I’m a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Harry Potter franchise, so this video was a blast.

I am looking forward to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie a lot. The previews just get better and better for that movie. And the characters and world of that movie fit in perfectly with Lego Dimensions! The New York presented in the game looks like it’ll be a lot of fun to explore and the characters look like they’ll be neat to play as. I also like the idea of putting other Harry Potter characters or even Lord of the Rings characters, like Gandalf, into this world.

I have not played Lego Dimensions. I have resisted because of the price and because I know I’d want all or at least most of the figures. Still, every time I see a video of this game, I am so delighted by it. I’ve always loved the Lego games and Lego Dimensions looks like its the ultimate game for this franchise!
