Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers - Launch Trailer

I played a demo of Destiny Connect that is available on the Japanese eshop but I couldn’t make heads or tails of it because it was all in Japanese. I did think that the game’s graphics and turn-based battle system were neat. The trailer for the game looks pretty good. And hey, I love anything that has time travel in it!

Now the game is available on the North American and Europe eshops. There is no English demo yet, hopefully we’ll get one. I’d love to check out this game in English!

LEGO Dimensions: Gandalf Meets Newt Scamander (Video)

  Gandalf the grey is not Dumbledore! Check out this new Lego Dimensions video and please check back after the video for my thoughts on Newt, Fantastic Beasts, and Gandalf. This Lego Dimensions video is my favorite of their introductions yet! Gandalf is really funny in this one. I love the confusion between him and Dumbledore! I’m a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Harry Potter franchise, so this video was a blast. I am looking forward to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie a lot. The previews just get better and better for that movie. And the characters and world of that movie fit in perfectly with Lego Dimensions! The New York presented in the game looks like it’ll be a lot of fun to explore and the characters look like they’ll be neat to play as.   We have learned over the past few days the do’s and don’ts of building custom tracks in our basement, but there is one main thing you shouldn’t do. Although you’ve likely already figured this out, we are here to help if you haven’t! When racing around your home, the AI opponents will not be hampered by real world obstacles. If you build a bridge, these other karts simply treat it as a straight away. So while you waste time going up and then coming back down, they are just zooming through, putting you at a major disadvantage. But that isn’t the tip we want to share.
